Grading Requirements – For 1^st kyu

2^nd Kyu (Brown One White Stripe Belt) grading to 1^st kyu (Brown Two White Stripes Belt)

1^st Table: Kihon

Moving into Gedan Berai, then Jiyu Dachi (free style)

1) Moving forward 4 times

Kizami-Zuki Jodan, step forward Oi-Zuki Chudan, half step Gyakuzuki Chudan. Kiai on the last punch - Turn

2) Moving forward 4 times

Mae-Geri Chudan, Oi-Zuki Jodan, half step Gyakuzuki Chudan. Kiai on the last punch - Turn

3) Moving forward 4 times

Yoko-Geri Kikomi, Uraken, Gyakuzuki Chudan. Kiai on the last punch - Turn

4) Moving forward 4 times

Mawashi Geri, Uraken, Gyakuzuki Chudan. Kiai on the last punch - Turn

5) Moving forward 4 times

Ushiro-Geri, Uraken, Gyakuzuki Chudan. Kiai on the last punch - Turn

From Standing position – Combination Balance Kicks

Mae-Geri, Yoko-Geri Kikomi, Ushiro-Geri. 

All 3 kicks firstly with the Right Side stepping down only after each set of 3 kicks have been performed.

Each set to be performed 3 times in total - then the same from the Left Side

2^nd Table: Jiyu Ipon Kumite

Moving into Gedan Berai, then Jiyu Dachi

Attacking from the right side only with Oi-zuki Jodan, Oi-zuki Chudan, Mae-Geri, Kikomi, Mawashi-Geri and Ushiro-Geri

with a counter attack by defending partner.

 Please remember that the defence for all attacks must not be the same

3^rd Table: Kata. Choose one of the following
